Cali Kid Corals

Looking for a large tank

It's been a while since my last tank build. Long story short, my tank was in the garage after my move. The contractor did some work in the garage when he was not supposed to. 90% of coral died due to some sort of a chemical contamination. :-(( At any rate, I tried to get back into it, but I kind of lost steam.

However, I am ready now, and I am looking for a bigger tank. 240G or greater. Prefer class and starphire if possible. I prefer to go with more depth than height. So something like 72 or 84L X 24 H X 30+ D.

Thanks for your help.

I checked out the tank yesterday... what an amazing tank. Unfortunately, it will not work because it's a peninsula tank. I tried to make things work in the house, but just couldn't. :-( It's a heck of a deal if you're not picky whether its a peninsula tank or not.

comparing with a person standing to it

It is acrylic
It was "reef ready" before I sealed the bottom and cut the holes in the overflow to create a bio-filter
But it is easily drilled for bulkheads and patch the holes in the overflow
The nightmare will be carry it up the 3 floors

And it's not my tank
I used to service it as an African cichlids tank when it was in his office
