Well I figured I would up date my day job. I just moved out to the east coast and started working at The House Of Fins in Greenwich Connecticut. Never have seen a collection of rare fish all in one place like they have there.

Layton, get two 250 watt ballasts with lumenarc reflectors just like I have over the coral flats. If you want something simple and that will grow your corals. There are a lot of bulbs out there to choose from. I'm using the Phoenix 14k and having great success with color and growth.

Most of the transhipments that i put away almost all the time there are a few missed marked Acropora sp out of the shipment. Even with the maricultured ones. i usually can figure out what they are by looking it up the Veron Book, but if i can't I just call it Acropora sp. and leave it at that.

I'm going to get some shots with a macro lens. It has no hard skeletal base, it is definitely a soft coral.

I have this softie growing out the middle of my one of my Sympodium colonies. It almost looks like a Scarcophyton (Toadstool) but the polyps are different.

Here is my two cents, Usually cloudy eyes is a tip off to me that the fish have flukes, usually eye flukes. One of the other symptoms the fish will scrape against a rock or the gravel with not visible signs of a parasite, this is another good indication that the fish have flukes. I see it all...
