Hey h20player101!
Man, you and the other members here at BAR are awesome = very helpful!
I have read that is one great little band saw! Especially for fragging where precision is needed most!
Unfortunately (for me) If, the max cutting height is 3.5"....it probably isn't going to workout...
Anyone out there that's local have a band saw or tile saw with a blade suitable for cutting through rock? I want to slice them thin as shelving in my tank. I can pay money but am not rich either. Let me know if you can help or somebody that can. Thanks
I've tried pulling it straight out, twisting it 180 degrees left and right and using a wide flathead driver prying it off between the impeller and the magnets plastic shaft. It won't budge. I'm sure it can't be fused together as I can twist it on the magnets shaft up to 180 degrees in both...
Cool. I just e-mailed Signature about a quote just at first. Thanks for the link Baymac!
I am also waiting on Gen @ Kritter Cages to get back to me tomorrow for a estimate.
Got the quote from Reef Savvy this morning and price looks a little better than all the other multiple estimates...
Thanks everyone for the welcoming - glad to be aboard :)
I can see how my BAR name would look similar to the beginning of a Toyota's VIN # lol
I contacted Gen about a quote for a tank - we'll see how that goes!
Thanks everyone!
I already donated to BAR so I am waiting for the Membership confirmation. Soon! :)
Oh, yeah, it is raining here in S.F. = Free Carwash
Hey what's up everyone?!
My name is Jeff and I was born and raised in good 'ol San Francisco and almost lived here all of my life!!
Can't beat the Bay man and there is nothing else like it.
I am going to be new to the saltwater thing, but am experienced in freshwater for...
Alrighty then - I will e-mail Gen once I get the chance to about my tank needs.
Yep, pretty much know what I want which was a glass tank but I can deal with acrylic, since I'm naturally pretty careful about not scratching things here and there.
Looking for a 30"x12"x12" (or 10"high)...
Oh okay cool.
Which would you guys would be better... getting a quote through Aquatic Central or e-mail Gen directly first?
My primary mission is to see if Gen could build a simple naked shallow tank out of acrylic for me, then on to the sump after.
Does he charge an arm and a leg...
