thinking about giving a cold water a whirl

yelloweye may reach 3 feet long, in very cold water, and after over 150 years of aging, in the wild, in perfect conditions. they are not legal to keep, catch, target, talk about, or contain in a fish tank. yelloweye are a very unique fish. i may have to take the boat out, catch a pair, and...

thinking about giving a cold water a whirl

Just like the post says I'm in the process of researching keeping cold water fish. Specifically, I'd like to keep deep water rock fish. Any reading anyone can send my way? Thinking a yelloweye pair. Pretty familiar with these and had a single specific question. How in the hell do I mimic the...

0 TDS from a RO/DI unit, $150. Sh@# eating grin after testing with a meter calibrated at 989 PPM and getting a 0 reading, priceless. my old reference meter may be for sale or trade soon. LFS with cured LR? LOL nope.

find some for me please. seems the LR is almost completly neglected in 4 out of 4 LFS in my area. 3 of you guys get free lights, can use water from frag tanks to change LR tanks, can easily change the filter sock in the sump(dublin...been watching that for 4 months, since that LR came in, then...

Our replacement 4 stage gets here in a couple days. i ran out of top off and needed RO bad. between our 29 and 90, we lose a gallon a day to evap. I first went to All About Fish and bought 5 gallons. the water tested at 18ppm on my very reliable hanna combo (one of 2 i own). then the scary...
