Congrats! Where did buy him? I have a green mandarin from Albany Aquarium. He eats frozen bloodworms. They get all their mandarins to eat them before they sell them.

Wow, I think that is one of the most beautiful tank stands I have ever seen. I have designed cabinets and built some of my own furniture. Must say the quality and details are impressive. Access doors are a great idea.

Interesting. I picked up two for Felicia yesterday but did not see those lids. I got the same blue lids that I have. They had white lids similar to these without the spout. But, they did not fit the buckets well.

Yes, they were in the paint dept. I think they are for mixing paint additives.

I drive by Lowes in Concord every weekend when I visit my mother. I will pick up a couple and give them to you on Thursday. David

Lowes also has clear buckets that are calibrated. Gallons on one side, liters on the other. I bought a couple of them and use them for water changes. Makes it very easy to measure out the water. These buckets come with blue, snap-on lids. But, these lids are not as secure as the white ones.

I think Lowes sells white 5 gallon buckets with lids in their paint dept.

Suppose this thread is quite old but you might want to try a penetrating epoxy. Smiths is a excellent brand and they are located in Richmond near 580. Their products are also sold in marine supply stores. Swendsens in Alameda carries their stuff.
