I am taking a few steps further with global warming.
Recently, tank was at 84F with 3 hrs light, and high nitrate and phosphate. Hammers and lobo have issues but sps still alive. When hammer dies off new heads develop.

I'm glad they were able to get these corals to breed. Now if we can figure out how to solve global warming and create a environment where the coral can survive, we may have a shot at restoring the reef.

Well I'm sure the solution had been found, just a matter oud people of power or money wanting to do it

So finding a solution to fix things that we broke by continuing to do all the stuff we have been doing that broke it in the first place :D

There are corals in the Persian gulf that can handle something like 96 degrees and murky water.

So the base biology is there.
I do think it should be possible to breed/combine/propegate that to other coral species.
