is that the elos tank? think they have their own drain system and has more pieces. if so, you can hardline it but don't think you can gate valve it.

for dinos, try live sand from Kenny at high tide. seemed to work for me and a good excuse to browse his livestock.

question, I have AOI zoas, do they count as wwc aoi for bonus or as regular zoas? I don't know if there's a material difference and can't really see a difference by online pictures.
