    Looking forward to

Father's Day weekend. After skipping a year last year I'm excited to make the long trek from Sonoma county to my favorite store! More focused on looking at tanks and stands this trip. See you soon Robert and staff!!

    Calcium Reactor Recommendation

Search eBay as well. You may want to spend some time becoming familiar with the models that work best for calrx systems. There's an awesome thread on another popular reef forum that goes into great depth about these setups. I would recommend spending the extra coin on a brushless motor. Much...

    Calcium Reactor Recommendation

I use a geo personally. It's the only model I've ever used so I don't have much to compare it to, but seems very solid.

Was at your store on Sunday

I hope to. I was a supporting member last year, and will renew this year at some point and have yet to make it to a BAR event!

Was at your store on Sunday

Just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed the experience at your new location yesterday. My family and I drove down from Santa Rosa to do our annual Father's Day reef store road trip. Your store was the best of the bunch and the service was incredible. I can't remember the guy's name that...

    High Nitrate and phosphate

Nitrates are probably fine. I wish mine would get that high. I've cut my vinegar dose over 60% and finally can reach about 1ppm. Phosphate seems high obviously. What export methods are you using? Mine reads 0 on hanna, but my macroalgaes grow so I think it's false. In a perfect world I would...

    NEPTUNE AQUATICS...2.0

Wow. Looks stunning. Can't wait to see it full of livestock. You still gonna stock some petrochromis and such? Have you tried to hit up George for some red Petros?

    Alternate clean up crew ideas?

The nassarius snails I get locally are roughly 1" in size. The small ones I've gotten from reef cleaners I can see getting snacked on, but not these. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Anyone know where to get these clean up crew critters locally?

I've had excellent experiences with reef cleaners. I've never seen dwarf ceriths in any store, only online. It's a bummer as they're hands down my favorite cuc member. Small enough to get in all the nooks and crannies while being small enough that my hermits don't even bother with them...

    Alternate clean up crew ideas?

Nassarius for sandbed maybe? Ever try nerites? They do a good job on my glass but do like to go on "walk about" up and over the tank rim, so if you're running a rimless setup it may be more of a pain then they're worth. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Sigh, still doing patchwork on the old tank...

I also carbon dose and my fuge has become a useless waste of space under my tank IMO. At this point I'm keeping it online strictly for pod production and a critter sanctuary. My tanks nutrients are so low that chaeto just craps out after a while. I'm in the process of changing to different...

Everyone doing OK with the heat?

I fared ok, my 40 gal in my garage was a different story. Tank went from 77 to 83. A few zoas melted and some sps went bye bye. Upgraded to a 75 gal that's in the house. No problems anymore Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
