I have a PFO hood that needs to be put to good use.
This is a unit that can be gutted for a smaller aquarium.
It's a five footer and the interesting thing (at least for me) is that the reflector material has two sections, lets say a three foot and a two foot; that being mentioned is what made it appealing to me so that I could remove the reflector (s) and use them for smaller systems; one small frag tank that was 24x24 and is long gone and the three foot section for the peninsula system I built (and is just doing nothing)
The hood has three mogul sockets for MH bulbs and a pair of old school T12-VHO sockets. You may swap the ancient T12's for T5 lamp holders, up to you.
Also, the hood features a pair (I think has two) of IceCap cooling fans; yes the ones with temperature sensor!
So the hood can be used as it is, you would just need to connect the wires to your choice of ballasts and power supplies or as I had the intent to remove internals and recycle the shell.
Anyway, free and pick up at my place in SF.
