What disc will be OK to use to frag a coral? does it have to be diamond or steel be good enough?
I'm about to frag a chalice to DBTC but have not done it before.
I use both. I find the steel works better with certain density corals. For the harder ones I use the diamond ones. My steel one is BIG. It's not the normal Dremel brand one but rather a cheap Harbor Freight one.
I have to use the largest one as the shaft is pretty thick. It does frighten me at times as such a large blade going so damn fast can develop a nice wobble. The last thing I want is a blade shooting off and nailing me I only whip that one out in extreme cases now.
So I grabbed the Dremel from my brother and will frag the chalice to DBTC it to the remaining people.
I'll use the diamond since I could not find the steel wheel.
