Our mission

Evolutions of a 3.5 gallons starfire

Took a shot of your tort, Mike. Not the sharpest shot since I had to shoot it an angle just to even see half of it.

Should be okay. The LE Paletti lovelii from Bryan was the same; bleached as soon as it saw my lighting. It's still bleached but no tissue recession or anything. Same with your piece from day one, but I'm not too concerned about it. The polyps are out on both and they're slowing picking up coloration in the body.

I'm expecting to see more bleaching throughout the tank soon - switching from Phoenix 14k over to Reeflux 12k once the new tank gets shipped (next week).

You sound fine with bleaching corals Eric? Do you want to try my shade cloth?

Nah, I have a piece prepared for it, Gresh. I'm just prepping myself just in case it does happen that's all. :p

Here's another piece that I haven't shot - Rich's tort.

Got bored last night after the forum went down, so I decided to take some pics. :p

First coral is the becker tort from Mike from DBTCX.

The teeth are for an external overflow box. There'll be no equipment showing in the tank, other than the vortec.

It is, just not in my hands. It's getting shipped tomorrow.

Just got all the plumbing supplies from savko earlier today.
