Help.. monti cap browning on the edge

Pick up this frag from @Coral reefer on Sunday. The edge starting to lose color and turn brown.

Anything i should do?

Alk drop from 8.6 to 8.4 in 4 days. other parameters is stable.


Edit: PAR is ~120 at that location.

I move it up to the rack, which should get closer to 200 PAR. let me know if this is a bad idea.

Corals often lose color or otherwise look unhappy when you move them to a new tank. I’ve found as long as parameters are fine and similar to where they came from that just letting them get used to their new situation works best.
