It's on rock and bare bottom. When I gently squirt the rock with a baster, it flies off the rock. For bottom, it requires more powerful squirt.

If it can be blown off , it’s not Carolline algae.

i read cyano has strings....this doesn't. maybe it will if given time. it'd been like this for 2 weeks.

Cyano can look many different ways. Use a scope of you wanna know for sure. I’m pretty sure tho. Def not coralline if it blows off.

Coraline is a calcareous? algae; meaning it consumes calcium; it feels more like rock than algae.
