Hi all,

Where do you usually buy pods from? LFS or online through algae barn, reef nutrition etc? copepods, tigger etc?

I love when banners line up!

But in all seriousness, I try to hit LFS locations especially if they're sponsors/partners. High Tide Aquatics carries various Reef Nutrition pods if you're in the East Bay. Neptune had them last time I checked in the South Bay too.

Thanks! yeah i didnt notice that banner..too many ads everywhere these days..

no i have bought from LFS numerous times..just wanted to try a different species of pods from different vendor to see if they populate..

am not having much luck with them populating in my refugium..

If you want different species, algae barn makes a five species in one jar mix.

I’ve done algaebarn multiple times - my mandarin and wrasse have lots of food

in a pinch, I’ve picked up from Neptune — sometimes on counter and sometimes in fridge to right of counter

Neptune for sure if you're in the area. They have Reef Nutrition; usually fresh bottles. Sometimes the two different kinds (apex and tigger), but I think usually tigger.
