Refractometer/Salinity STD?

I got a small bottle of Refractometer calibration fluid(says "Refractometer/Salinity STD, should read 35 PPT / 1.026 on Refractometer"on the bottle) from the BAR Spring swap and was wondering, does it have a shelf life? If it was sealed properly/tightly, can it go "bad"?

If there is ANY salt creep on the outside, it's off. If there isn't any, it should be fine. i
