I have these very skinny legged starfish? In one of my tanks....are they OK to keep or should I remove them ASAP?

Legs are skinny like thin pieces of thread..

TIA
Ken

Brittle star. I had two in a previous reef as part of my clean up crew and they posed no problem aside eating a sleeping chromis or cardinalfish. Not the feared green serpent star.

+1 on spaghetti worm.
Good for eating detritus.
But if you see a lot of them, it indicates you may be feeding too heavily.

Not brittle stars. Those are spaghetti worms.
Are you sure? My spaghetti worms are orange. Also, in one picture it looks like it's got a center disc with 5 legs coming out from it.

@Klems, are you able to get a better picture? Maybe pull one out and put it in a cup or something.

Yep, pretty sure that's what it is. There's quite a few number of spaghetti worms out there and I've seen them in different coloration of tentacles. Mini and micro star legs looks quite different.
