What does everyone do with their empty saltmix buckets?

I have around 6 empty Red Sea and IO salt buckets with lids just sitting in my garage. Seems a waste just to chuck them in the trash. What does everyone else do with them?

If anyone wants them, they're yours. Pick up in Castro Valley.

Ooohh - buckets. Bring them to a club event and they will be gone in a flash by people like me who buy bagged salt in boxes. Or, place with a FREE sign in your yard and neighbors will take them.

I use them for transporting free organic compost from the Sunnyvale Smart station (it’s free, but only up to 96 gallons per week is allowed lol - who knows how they came to that figure - but thanks to my 5-gallon salt buckets I know exactly how many gallons of dirt I’m taking away!)

No kidding! That’s a lot of sugar. Do you do a lot of bake sales or something?
Not for bake sales. She would do cakes and cupcakes for friends. One batch of frosting for a single cake takes like 6 cups of powdered sugar. I was surprised how much sugar goes into frosting.
