Hi, I use my ato to pump water back into the tank. I believe it’s a tunze nano, the only problem with this is that every few minutes or so I have to unplug and replug in the ato because it will stop after a while so it doesn’t overflow the tank.

I figured it was time to update this. Not much has happened recently other than finally getting my ato working again. All of the monti cap frags seem to be doing well and the blondies zoas have been doing well and are starting to put out a few babies.

I think zoa might be a Gatorade zoa.

Hi all, it has been a dream of mine to keep harlequin shrimp for quite a while now. I was wondering if anybody has some insight into keeping harlequin shrimp in a nano reef, and if it is feasible.

Yeah waiting for tanks to cycle sucks :) . I probably will have more frags in a couple months.

I have lots of kenya tree and eagle eye zoas if anybody wants some. I also made a couple small frags of monti cap yesterday, but I want to wait for those to heal before I give any out. Pm me if you are interested.

I don't think it is just the temp its self that is stressing the corals out. The tank is going from around 76 degrees to 78-80ish during the summer. Do you think that would be enough to raise the pH? And if so how should I manage the temp, should I get a small chiller?

I have had a shortspine urchin for a little while now and it hasn't picked anything up, so if you don't want one that picks up stuff I would go with the shortspine urchin.
