Yea I think that’s likely what happened. There was a slight improvement, but I think it’d be more dramatic on different lights

I have the XHO with my radion g5 blues and didn’t see a huge difference adding those lights

Thanks for the super thorough response! I’m tearing down my nuvo 40 and setting up a reefer250 in the exact same spot, so it’s going to be impossible for me to have the new tank up and running in advance. it’s also going to be impossible for me to have 65G of water on hand warmed up to 80...
