New in bag CaribSea Arag-Alive (3 bags 60lbs), 100lbs of fiji pink (lightly used)

I have 3 unopened bags Bahama Oolite for anyone that needs it. It's a pretty fine grade so keep that in mind. Also, I have around 100lbs of CaribSea Fiji Pink that I pulled out of my system. It's a much nicer grade...not too big not too small. It's currently sitting in two 5 gallon buckets. I...

    Ecotech Battery Backup

If you have or can get your hands on a voltage meter you can test it that way to see if the battery is still good. Since it was in storage for two years, the batteries in the unit probably completely drained out…not a good thing. You can replace just the batteries inside the unit if they are...

Better your chances of adding an anemone to DT without having it move...

Yes...this is specifically for rose anemones as those are the only ones I have experience with. I should've mentioned that in the title.

Better your chances of adding an anemone to DT without having it move...

Take hole drill bit and cut out a hole...here I'm using a 2" bit drilled approximately 2.5"-3" deep. Take a screw driver and gently pry off the center. Rinse off the residue and place your anemone in hole making sure the base/foot sits deep into the hole. I usually do this out of the water...

    DBTC: Walt Disney Tenuis

My original plans were to connect with you during the week but wasn't sure if I was going to make it out to you so I didn't want to hold up the line or have you hold them for me. Your generosity is greatly appreciated though. Hopefully I can grow one out in the next round.

    Anna & Pablo’s RSR P650

I've used crazy gel applied to areas with STN in the past with good success in stopping the spread...maybe you can give it a try. By the way, would you mind elaborating on how a pressurized RO container works vs an ATO?

    COVID vaccine available

I used an app called "Telegram." It's a freeware messenger software you can download in the app store. Just join the group "bayareavaccinenotifications" and you will get updates every 30 minutes of all available appointments in different counties. That's how I got an appointment for my wife and...

    My 150 gallon build journey

Thanks Eric. I won't be putting corals in for a awhile since I don't plan on running the lights until I start seeing some good coraline growth, but when I do it will be a SPS dominant system. The tank is cycled now...did it twice with Dr. Tim's ammonia chloride. I just did a 50% water change...

    My 150 gallon build journey

Yes...I’m in the neighborhood where the pge incident occurred. That’s how I lost my last setup. I’m not complaining though...my neighbor’s down the street lost their lives . Your SN does look familiar.

    Gem Tang Price Drop?

Went by Aquatic Collections today and saw a couple of small gem tangs for sale...$350 each. Before I got out of the hobby awhile ago, the same size would sell for $800-$1000 if you can even find one for sale. Seems like everything else is skyrocketing in price, so this came as quite a surprise...
