I think the issue is that most of the manufacturer volume ratings on skimmers are artificially high because they assume almost no bioload. If you check out Bulk Reef Supply's website, they give their own volume rating for each skimmer. So for example, my Reef Octopus 110 INT skimmer is...

Those are all kind of a bit small for a 120 gallon water volume. Generally people recommend getting a skimmer that's rated for twice your water volume.

This is super cool! So for Eurobracing you just had the long strips of glass cut and then you siliconed them in place? How hard was it to get the rim off of the 40B? Definitely a cool way to make a $40 tank look high end! Is that the 700 gph glass holes overflow? That's what I used on my 40B.

Thanks, Nav. Those sponges are from KP Aquatics as well. I got them a couple years ago for my seahorse tank and then moved a few sponges into this tank when I took the seahorse tank down.

In an ideal world, I'd have a fancy DSLR and be able to easily do custom white balance. Since I don't, I had to figure out a way to make my iPhone work. Honestly, I am super impressed with the photos it can take and this is super easy!
