It might be interesting to track whether frags picked up very early do better than those at the end. It is only natural to pick the healthiest frag first. I think it also may be traumatic going from the store, to Michael's tank, and then finally to the contestant's tank (and sometimes members...

Hi, is there a typo regarding what size your tank will be? I think the Red Sea Reefer 170 has 165 gallons total system volume so 40 pounds of rock doesn't sound adequate?!
Alfred (@neuro ) - just an update. I kept the 2 smaller frags and they both are greening up at the base with tiny red polyps! Keeping fingers crossed that they will make it! Thanks again!
I think this will be a great learning experience. I've always been curious on what percentage of frags from the same mother colony actually survive.....
