All reporting the same that growth has taken off once they made the switch.I dont have a problem with color, but in terms of growth things...

i think the bleaching of 8 hours is way overkill. when i clean my filters i run them in the wash with only a capfull of bleach. One cycle with the capfull, then another cycle with just hot water. Air dry for a couple days to let any chemicals evaporate. My thought is you left it in the bucket...

most chalices i have are directly from WWC or Cornbred. I got this one from a friend, hes had it for a bit. I think he got this from another reefer years ago.
