get the magnetic feeding ring. i had the same problem, which caused a lot of pellets to just float into the chambers. my autofeeder drops pellets right into the ring, stinks into water and then gets moved by the pumps for the fish to chase and eat...

i think its definitely nice to have if you're not using an apex. Once i got my apex i sold it.

Just left for 15 days over Christmas and my tank did fine. Left a ton of water for the ATO , and food in the auto feeder.

im running my IM30 the way you have your first diagram, i have the IM fuge light on my chaeto and it grows great. Harvest a ton every couple weeks.

does the apex doser offer any additional features that others cant do because of the apex integration? or does it just integrate and tell you how much ML you are dosing.

Ive been thinking about the GHL doser as well. any insight on this guy compared to the apex doser?

I'd like to add an autofeeder to my tank since i will be away for the holidays. Any recommendations ? review on what you currently have? pros/cons? I'm thinking about adding the apex one but there are so many i thought i'd ask peoples personal experience.

thats a ton of GHA, i'd remove as much as you can manually and then cut back on whatever is feeding it. are your phos and nitrates in check?
