I have seen that chemiclean does not kill off lyngbya, even though its a type of cyano. In a bunch of threads ive found people using kent M tech to raise mag which ends up killing the Lyngbya. I didnt use M tech but i ended up raising my Mag up a bit and getting a couple blue/scarlet hermit...
