    Julius' CDA 150 Build

I read online that when the pumps stops after a cycle, the fluid in the incoming tube will drop off by gravity. This may introduce inconsistency in dosage next time it spins up, because the drop may not be consistent among the 3 pumps.

    Julius' CDA 150 Build

Two random questions: 1. I calibrated all 3 refactor meters to 35 ppt a year ago. This morning all 3 meters showed 36~37 ppt using the SAME bottle of calibration fluid (which has been kept in fridge). Does calibration fluid expire, or the meters somehow shifted? Maybe temperature calibration...

    Glass tank drilling

I will not be able to help, but drilling wasn’t that difficult if you get right tools and patience, with some tips. I have the drill guide you can borrow. My drill bits may be different size though. I watched youtube, practiced a few holes on scrap glass (ruied the first drill bit real quick...

BAR 2018 Annual Regional Frag Swap

How do I pre-register at the homepage? I only see a note there about sending money to paypal@bareefers.org I am not sure whether the corals I will bring all qualify. If I end up having less than 3 qualifying corals, can I pay $ to fill the "gap"? Thanks, Julius

Anybody near Fremont-Milpitas-Santa Clara has a few pcs flat shelf rock and tonga branches? Interested in buying just a small qty to For my new tank. Prefer dry rocks instead of live rocks, fearful of hitch hikers and risk of disease.

    saltwater mixing station build....

So I built this fitting to connect between the 3/4" pipe and 1/4" the peristaltic pump. The slip between clear tubing and the white fittings will not be glued, so I can slide the fitting out to replace the 1/4" tubing when needed.

    saltwater mixing station build....

Two lines: drain line from tank (not surpring), and new salt water line from brute can to tank (surprising). The build up is most obvious where there is a u shape (where sediment can collect). I’d say I need to change the lines every 4 months (running at 3-5 gallon/day).

    saltwater mixing station build....

I have found yelliw sediment inside 1/4” tubing in both nsw and drain lines. Overtime they got blocked real bad. I thus use 3/4” pvc pipe for the section inside wall and in crawl space. 1/4” tubing only at tank and garage where i can easily check and replace.

    Julius' CDA 150 Build

I did connect WNCE3001 and my laptop via ethernet cable and disabled wifi on my laptop, so that I could confirm WNCE3001 is connected to internet wirelessly. However, I have no evidence so far that the AI director, once connected with WNCE3001 via ethernet cable, is connected to internet.

    Julius' CDA 150 Build

Well, finally, I tried to unplug the ethernet wire, just let AI Director to operate in wireless mode. It finally allows me to add the new device in MyAI account. The learning is when doing the initial setup end to end, do not use ethernet wired connection to home router. Wait until all is...
