I have never had to catch fish that big in a tank IME- Maybe drain half the water. Might cut down on half of their hiding spots. You can put the water back in or water change it up.

This happens to me as well when I use BRS brand gel. Like the outside layer of glue sloughs off and starts blowing around the water. I have never experienced with any other gel I have used.

I agree that an Urchin's first preference wont or might not be the long tough algae. In my recent experience, I noticed the urchins had no choice but to eat my long algae, it seems it was all I had. They would eat a section of the only long offering then go back and forth from the long algae...

Any harm in using these with cracked plastic Been ordering these for a while and first time ever getting cracked blue portion. Looks like 3 of 4 are cracked.

Cracks in shipping happen and I’ll chat with customer service. Curious if anyone has else received one good set and one damaged set with the bogo promo?
