Really bad news folks... due to circumstances beyond my control the crab season has been officially postponed due to dangerous levels of domoic acid. Therefore we will all have to suffer through eating some abalone instead. See you on Sunday :)

just keep doing water changes. dosing and chasing numbers is not the answer.

maybe they got the flu or the plague. hard to tell with crabs. i have had some for many years but they do die off from time to time. same with snails. I have never had much luck with sandbed snails. go figure

get rid of all other life forms and SPS will grow. all you need to do is water changes :)

My ph swing is like 10x yours (8.25-8.50) my corals don't seem to mind

feeding is the key. research the correct type of food and you will succeed :)

That thing will seriously screw up you reef tank. especially the shell grinding on your plexiglass. Be honest here.

the mfg cost of a 10 gallon tank must be less than $2. I remember stores used to give them away all the time.

I cant imagine any issues with that. You might get some algae but who cares?
