There is no patching or separate staining the part under the tank. the entire room will need to be sanded to make it match. especially if years go by before it is done.
I would move the tank and put 1 or @ extra coats of the finish to help seal the floor from future spills.

Red bugs are easy peezey lemon squeezey to get rid of. AEFW's are a whole different story. Montie eating nudies are fun to get rid of but not as hard as AEFW's IMHO.

dont laugh! I burned a bunch of demo debris in a fireplace once and the thing got so hot it cracked the fireplace.

This guy crawled out of the tank and landed in a 5 gallon bucket of alk yesterday.
I doubt he suffered long.

Breakers can trip if the breaker is bad or if the breaker panel is old and or corroded or has loose connections.
6.24 amps (749 watts) should not trip a good breaker.
