Wow that's some crazy glass work! I would never have thought to cut a tank down like that but the results worked out awesome!! Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk

    Where to get microfauna?

My 90 is just starting out, so I haven't got much of anything to trade at the moment unfortunately. :) However, if you have are heading to the next BAR meeting maybe I could pick some up then? If anyone has extra of the following I'd be willing to buy 'em: - mini stars - bristle worms -...

    RODI question

When I use water from the pressure tank, at some point the RO system starts producing again. If I keep using water from the pressure tank, the pump finally kicks in at some point. I guess I just need to adjust the pressure switch for the pump. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk

    Where to get microfauna?

Building a 'fuge light is on my list of things to do. I have some old LEDs kicking around I can re-purpose for that. Then a 'fuge is definitely in the plans. My favorite rock ever was the florida keys liverock I started the oceanic tank you gave me with. SO much life in that. But not...

    Where to get microfauna?

I'd like the get a variety of bristle worms, spaghetti worms, pods, and other small stuff to inhabit the rocks and sand. What has everyones experience been ordering online? Any suggestions from where? Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk

    RODI question

Out of curiosity is anyone using a booster pump with two membranes? After adding my second membrane my booster pump hardly runs unless the pressure tank gets really low. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk

37g Oceanic all in one with stand - perfect starter tank - free!

Yup, and I definitely appreciated it for that reason. I had a Solana 34g and the all in one sump was so tight I could barely fit a skimmer in there. It was a mess.

37g Oceanic all in one with stand - perfect starter tank - free!

Yeah, it was never an amazingly spacious tank for a 37g. However, for the price, can't argue!

37g Oceanic all in one with stand - perfect starter tank - free!

Member xcaret was kind enough to give me this tank back when I moved to the bay area in 2014. I've since upgraded to a 90g tank. Here is the tank and stand: Top view of tank: Note: I have no glass top for this any more - I managed to break it. This is the perfect tank for a new hobbyist...

    TGunn's 90g Reef

Today was a good day for livestock. I picked up a yellow tang (was supposed to be a purple but I totally misunderstood the price and thought they were $70, not $250. Hahaha whoops), a royal Gramma, a conch, brittle star, some nassarius snails, and some turbos. Sent from my Pixel XL using...

    TGunn's 90g Reef

I'll probably add another down the road. At the moment I've got little in there in the way of corals. So for the moment things should be okay. :) Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk

    In the beginning...

You can always get some black chloroplast to make some light blocking dividers; that is probably what I'll be doing under my stand.

    TGunn's 90g Reef

There are a few in there so far, though nowhere near as many as there should be. I transferred over the few that I had in my 34g. I'm seeing the diatoms starting to show up on the rocks and sand at this point. I'm thinking I'll wait a bit before introducing a load of new corals since the tank...

    TGunn's 90g Reef

My 90 degree adapter came today for the Kessil. I think it's amply bright (HDR photo doesn't do justice). We will see how things do. Simple solution!! Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk

    TGunn's 90g Reef

That's a good idea. I will order one of those and give it a try. I'm amazed how incredibly bright the Kessil is on this tank. I feel it could easily be higher without the brightness diminishing too much. The 90 adapter is exactly what I need. I actually had to put the kessil mount on the...
