During the past few weeks our brown palys are taking over so I need to trim them. Suggestions on removing/cutting back Brown Palys. I remember reading somewhere that they can irrate your skin and should wear gloves. Mike

I have turn off the lights and packed on the reactors full with carbon. Lets see what happens. Mike

After moved our 55g month later develop diatom brown algae all over the place. The same moving technique was used for our other tank which is doing great. In fact it is doing better then before the move. The levels for nitrate and phosphate are not detectable in 55g Skimmer is working...

Still have not been able to get the tank under control. Have added second reactor with GFO and have been doing 20% water changes each week for the past month. Any suggestions? Mike
