Do you know if they eat long green hair algae? Tried all sorts of methods to get rid of it.

Not much from me either. I've been 2x dose a time, not 2x weekly. I do see small to medium sized clumps of hair algae floating around once a week not sure where its from though..

So when you say 2x week, you mean 2 ml per 1 gals? Is that a single dose or one day and the next? Anyways, dosed 3ml in a 30gal yesterday (1ml per 10 gal) and i saw a small patch of HA floating around today. Never seen that before..

Just picked up a bottle of 8oz. 6 day blackout helped the battle with GHA in a way, but didn't eliminate it completely. Once I have the bottle I'll do a before and after.

Bio-pellets are a bit overkill on my nano. And reactors just clog up with all this hair algae I have.

I actually did take a break.. sort of... Tank was running on cruise control. Made minimal to little effort maintaining it. It was extremely hard taking care of it with personal matters at hand. Willing to give OP's method a try
