these are awesome fish to watch - I have a trio that spawns in my 40 breeder - Robin is going to try to raise them when I complete my tank breakdown - so hopefully he can add some input down the road to our local forum.

One quick comment - with such large water changes, please, please, be sure that the water you are adding does not contain P04 or No3! Also, what PO4 media are you using? Have you considered a reactor for the NO3 as well? I say this, since I think in the end, you will have a similar cost...

Jaime - I have a geo 624 that I'm selling - I'd be willing to let you give it a test run if that would make sense for you. I ran it on my 180 sps + 60g fuge/sump. Its a large reactor that can handle a big tank. -Kyle

Gresh - not questioning your perception - just want some clarification...so how does the Waikiki aquarium keep such a nice SPS reef? The reef only gets direct sunlight. As i recall, there is also a beast of an emperor angel in that tank that must keep things in check. Best,

Thanks Zep - Anyone with some thoughts on their use of pribidio or Zeo - I'm not sure I want to try a ULNS tank, but more bacterial driven to keep phosphates and Nitrates in check - in addition to keeping them out of the tank to begin with. Thanks!

That's basically what I'm going to do - I sent a bunch of frags to Philly - so I'll put them through QT - probably mount them on 1/4 acrylic rods and then attach them to the rock... Do you think you sufficiently seeded the tank? And did you prevent the algae, aiptasia, etc. from getting...

Hey guys, I want to think through some of the options for when I set up my new tank in Philly. The keys for me are to start clean and never introduce parasites (coral and fish). Ill have a full QT for fish and for SPS - each independent. The tank will almost certainly be my 40g breeder...

Matthew - I'd order a bottle of "revive" or pick it up from a LFS. Dipping your corals is an essential preventative measure. -Kyle
