I had the same issue with low MG for a while - using reefcrystals. I added MG to my CA reactor to help keep it up. But yes, it takes a TON of material to get it up just a little bit! To go from 1100-1350+ I did daily additions for about 2-3 weeks... -Kyle

Are you use just using the straight CFL or using the spotlight ones...I am using a standard right now, and it does not put that much light into the tank - I think the spotlight is relatively important...unless you have the other bulbs installed into a reclector. -Kyle

It was near the bottom my my 180 under ATI T5's - it was pretty happy there. I'd suggest middle of the tank, but with lots of good indirect flow - the polyps really come out in full force with a good varied current.

With the amount of new corals that seems to enter the tank, I think at least some of these are more than possible...its just what priority you put forward.

unfortunately, I have a limited number of frags -since the tank and livestock are (likely) being sold as a package... I have a feeling that frags will be available from Atlantis though in the near future!
