    I also remove, rinse, replace what isn't mush and then top off with fresh.

    I hard plumb all the chillers and works fine. Be sure to use teflon tape on your threaded connections to reduce chances of leaks, and don't over tighten.

    I've found it takes three or four days before Salinity is fully dissolved and ready to use. I try to mix it at least a week in advance.

    Hard to tell from the video. Black tipped claws are often seen on xanthid crabs (stone crabs), which are often destructive in reefs. Can you take a close-up photo?

    Slug ID- are these ok?

    Shrimp also love them. I had a healthy colony of them in my 12g nano, then added some peppermint shrimp to eat the Aiptasia. The shrimp did quite well, but mostly ate Stomatella - now there are none.
