glad to hear it’s doing well! Yep they’ll walk a lot like that to find a good spot. Once settled though they usually wont move if everything is consistent.

I would love a nice little group of lyretails and I’ve tried before and just not had any success. They always seem to die in quarantine with me for some reason. I just do an observational quarantine usually. Just sucks cause they aren’t cheap either and I’m not sure why.

I'll do this with my quarantine tank occasionally. (DT water in to quarantine, never the other way around). Waste goes down the toilet most often.

Any fish recommendations? Open to anything. Maybe thinking a yellow coris wrasse for pest control (I had a monti eating nudi outbreak, but it seems to have subsided). Wrasses worry me though because I still do not have a lid on the tank and prefer not having one.

Yeah I love the look of them especially the forest fire, I think they tie the tank together nicely and are good corals for the high light right there I am just worried it'll be a losing battle.

I did some quick research and people seen to recommend yellow coris and six line wrasse. I generally quarantine all my fish for a month though so I am not sure if this is a reasonable solution as it would take at least a month to add them? I am almost tempted as @MolaMola said to not stress...
