I think the (2) 360’s are good; maybe a 3rd if you get into heavier SPS stuff, but you can do a decent amount with just those two. What percentage are your lights at now? I’d guess less than 40%, so you’ve got another bunch of intensity to play with still. The build is coming along great...

Thanks, Mike and Mike, for the input. The back of the tank is drilled for the two returns. I was thinking that 3/4 would be more ideal pressure than 1" for the returns, but I'm glad I mentioned it. Would you guys recommend 1" for the returns? The Synergy box (external part) has (3) 1.5"...

This is what I did: CaribSea Ocean Direct Caribbean Live Sand - Fine Oolite Substrate 40 lbs CaribSea Ocean Direct Caribbean Live Sand - Original Grade Substrate 40 lbs I've had a total of 80 lbs of sand in the tank which is just right (for me); I think anywhere in the 80-120 range is just perfect.
