I have no experience with automatic feeding of non-photo corals... I suspect that you will need to have really optimized flow and have a very good flow situation that will keep all of the food suspended in order to make sure the archohelia gets enough food. I cover my whole archohelia...

Well put Mike. The one thing I would say is that the 6105s are noticeably smaller and better looking in the tank than the old 6x00s. I really like the way they made them so easily positionable. I also was not a huge fan of the Vortech controller... it's nice if you have no controller...

If tentacles are ripped off and floating around the tank, I would suspect the anemone is not healthy... Make sure your flow is not too high.

Does a lack of CO2 cause problems beyond making it hard to keep your PH up? Steve, I didn't see it in this thread, but do you have an idea on what your tank ph is and whether it swings a lot from day to night?

Actually I was using Norprene that I had purchased from a medical supply house. (I still have like 20 feet of the stuff left.) Honestly, though, this was back in my early reefing days and I probably wasn't doing something correctly. :)

I've used a lab grade watson marlow peristaltic continous pump and a different (non cole parmer) medical pump and I just had problems with both. (Tubing would wear out quickly, very limited head pressure, etc.) I haven't used the cole parmer, so I can't comment on them. I hear they work...

I don't know if it's true, but I was told that yumas have bumps on the mouth whereas ricordeas have smooth mouths.
