Believe me, if that were easy to do it would be done already. Unfortunately there's not a straightforward way to restrict content types (or the buttons for creating them) on a per-forum basis. I'm sure there's some way we can figure out to do it but it's not as simple as it sounds. :(

My MP-40s are louder than the Koralias I had before. It's sort of a whine that goes up and down with the motor speed. It's not horrible, but it's definitely noticeable, so that's another factor to consider.

If your salt mix normally mixes to 400ppm Ca/10dkh alk, tripling the concentration would give you a solution that's 1200 ppm Ca and 30 dkh alk. It's hard for me to imagine that you wouldn't get a ton of precipitation from that.

The pinpoint meter is not water proof. Splash some tank water on it and its a goner. I have an Extech EC600 now. It's a bit quirky and hard to calibrate. It's default temperature compensation isn't right for saltwater and the conversion from mS to ppt isn't right either. However, once...

The only way it could raise the pH and "remove" extra CO2 is by dissolution of the media in it.

I don't know about brands, since I built mine, but IMO a second stage probably doesn't do much. In a properly running CA reactor the water in the reactor is saturated so the effluent can't dissolve any additional CaCO3.
