I have 55 gallon shallow tank with 20 gallon sump and 30 refugium. I am planning to a journal.

Opps, sorry. Between 80 - 83 according to Apex. Normally, I keep my tank at 77.

I didn't during my first tank. It was reaching close to 90 i believe. Hot temp + algae made me quit the hobby for about a year ;P. I had no knowledge back then. I am using clip on fans now. Those help me maintain between 80 during heat wave. I can't use chiller because I live in an apartment...

Ya. I watched over the weekend too. Didn't know temp play a big role. No wonder my corals doesn't do very well during summer.
