Might have made it worse by blasting it with a power head. Try to give it a dip in revive and place it in a low flow area for a few days and see what happens.

I just picked up 2x 250w SE reeflux since Robert had some in stock. Compared side to side with my radium and it looks almost identical! Running it on a lumatek ballast set to 250w, the radium is set on hqi. Not sure what the PAR value is but it looks good to me. Of course it has not had a chance...
