I too just keep the powerheads running. I dont run an air stone on my 180 but in a smaller tank that is a good idea.

I QT every fish. I was tired of treating sick fish in the DT. 14 days in 2.0+ copper and I feed food soaked in GC (General Cure), Selcon and Focus for internal problems. Antibiotics are used during copper if needed. Then its 2 rounds of GC followed by 14 days observation. I have lost fish...

Awesome fish. No problems with any fish large or small and i have kept them with cleaner and/or Fire Shrimp.

I think the fish may swim out on you while trying to retrieve the trap. But having the food moving around in the trap gets them in there for me. I usually use a frozen food or live brine if I can find it. FYI I have a fish trap you could borrow.

I tried this on a couple zoa frags. They werent in the peroxide for more than 20 seconds. Took those frags 2 months to recover. Never doing that again

I also wonder if the same person does the testing every time? Different people conducting the test could be reason for inconsistency.
