I agree Bryan.
When I was regulary basting the tank, I was also being more active in the observation of the tank. The basting was just a side benefit of me participating in more routine work on the tank. I do have more frags though :)
Glad to hear everything wen well Brian. Are you still basting the corals and rocks? Is it just part of the regimen now?

Jared, My tank was BB so that was the reaosn to add sand back. I've heard many times that sand will help stablilize a tank's PH, but I just think my water was "bad". I also like the appearance of sand in my tank and I knew I was going to go back to sand if I did not tear down for good.
