Man, why did you all throw the tools in there? If the trailer is solid metal, not a wood bed , you could light a fire under it and melt it. But all that really does is let you fill buckets to trash it. Might as well go at it with a saw.

If your ceiling collapses because of an earthquake you probably have bigger issues than your lights falling in the tank :) Since you probably won't have studs where you want them, you can just mount a board to the ceiling ( through studs) and then mount the lights to the board.

Urchins are way worse because they pick up frags and then drop them random places :) Personally I haven't ever had huge issues with turbos if frags are well attached. The biggest issue is having to occasionally flip them back over. Trochus snails also work well. I'm not a fan of hermit crabs...

10g isn't too small for a turbo. It's pretty hard to beat their algae eating abilities.

I use flake. But yes -- you need a feeding ring of some sort. I have the eheim feeding station.

Auto feeder and auto top off.. I regularly don't touch my tank between water changes. I have a rsm 250 that has a full lid. Normally I have the front portion removed. But if I'm going to be gone for over a week I put it on to help with evap and extend my ato longer.

Used an eheim feeder for over 7 years. Highly recommended. I have it spin and drop flake 3x per day.
