+1 on Mike. My 12 inch nem never bubbles. When he split, the little guys both had bubbles. I do not think it's indicative of health.

I have one A. Got him with the first batch that came out. He was in a tank with 2 others and he was the only one that ate in the store. Everything I have read (there's a big thread on RC) about these guys says if they don't eat in the store they are very unlikely to eat when you get them...

+1 on hanging upside down Mine only come "topside" when they're hungry or looking for food. I'd say build a small overhang for them and see if that helps. If not, do what Mario said and get some cocktail sauce ;)
