3/5 Speaker Talk: Vincent Chalias on Ex-Situ Coral Farming

I am very excited to announce that Vincent Chalias will speak to BAR on March 5 at 5pm. He set up the first mariculture farm in Indonesia 20 years ago and now has the first license for ex-situ coral farming - in this talk, he will explain what this is! I cannot wait to hear his advice on acropora husbandry from his experience observing and commercially growing acropora in different environments.
Vincent is a marine biologist, activist involved with reef restoration (see Ocean Gardener project), coral mariculturer (via Bali Aquariums), and contributor to Reef Builders magazine.
