adding dry rock with lichen

i picked up a small piece of dry rock from the LFS and it has some spots of yellowish lichen on it. I boiled the rock and scraped some of it off but it's going to be impossible to try to get it all.

Do you think its ok to add this rock to my tank? i wanted to ask before i put it in. thanks!

If it's bowl rock it shouldn't be a problem, I've added it without issue, although some yellow lichen does have hallucinogenic properties, I don't know which ones though..

if you can poser wash it, if not, not real biggy as long as you don't use too much (dilution factor)
