Aquascaping Workshop!!! 04/13 Sunday 1pm

You guys wanted events and we listened!!! I don't know the last time the club had an aquascaping workshop, I know I haven't seen one in the last 5 years.

This Workshop is for Supporting Members only.

Sunday April 13th at 1pm. @Coral reefer will be going over some techniques of aquascaping and how he makes structures. I reached out to our new sponsor Rockhard Aquascape to see if he wanted to join as well.

This event will be held at Hightide Aquatics in Oakland. The address is 2819 MacArthur Blvd, Oakland, CA 94602.

I'll be bringing a bunch of rock for everyone to smash up and make stuff with. If anyone else wants to donate some rocks that would be awesome!!!

I don't know how space is going to be in the back outside area of the shop yet so we are holding off on plus ones just yet.

I haven't ran it by the board yet but I'm sure we will at least buy some waters for everyone.

Sounds like a fun event! Thanks for organizing it. I cannot commit to be there yet. I may not know until the day before most likely. But I'll do my best. I also invited @Rockhard Aquascapes to see if he might be interested in it. It's a trek for him too though.

If you plan on making a structure make sure you can bring it home. Those $10 27gallon home depot totes and bubble wrap work great.

This is the best thing I’ve found. Pro tip. Don’t carry the tote with the structure in it cause the bottom of the tote will flex. Load and unload the tote in your vehicle.

Ive got a ton of rock for this event. Just picked a lot up from @Blaise006
