Are Open brains moody?

I have a new brain coral (open brain), it has been eating well over the last 3 days. As of this morning an into tonight it is not inflated or eating. It's tissue looks great but it it not open and inflated. It ate over the last two days. Are these corals temperamental and will they go for periods of time all closed up? Or is this not typical of a brain?

Don't try to feed everyday.. They don't need to eat everyday.
