Hello to all of you potential new supporting members. I am the recording secretary for the BOD and an issue came up after the last member-only frag swap. First of all, to participate in this swap you must be a supporting member since the preceding regional frag swap (approximately 6 months before the member swap). Remember, this is a swap by and for the supporting members and if you have been a supporting members for the last year or more, you have nothing to worry about.
Secondly, there are rules about the swap and they are posted well before the event so you will know what you need to do if you are swapping corals.
This event is well attended and we always have raffle item available which means that as supporting members, you have a chance to pick up some terrific equipment, supplies, or maybe even a rare or totally unusual coral.
So, if you want to participate in the member's only frag swap, please consider becoming a supporting member now or before the regional frag swap in October. We are here to help and support each other and having more members means the swap is much larger and the variety of corals and fish is that much greater.
